      Hi Brittany-
I don’t have a release schedule for the other three books yet. As soon as I know, I will be sure to post it on my website and blog.

I was looking at the website and said the next book (Hot Ticket) will be released next, this spring.. just wondering if that’s still accurate and if you know when in the spring..?
By the way, totally addicted to these, I love the characters and I’m SOO looking forward to the next books!

      • Olivia

        March 6, 2012 at 9:57 am

It depends on how you define “next book”. If you’re talking about the next book in the series chronologically–the one that takes place after Rock Hard–then yes, that is Hot Ticket and it is supposed to be released in Spring of 2013. No date yet. I wrote that book almost three years ago, so the delay is not a hang-up on my end. Snared is written as the 4th book of the series and that one is supposed to be released in Fall of 2013. Also no date yet. I wrote that book two years ago.

If you define “next book” as the one my publisher has decided to publish next because they think it will “sell”, then that would be Double Time and it will be released November 2012. Double Time is actually the fifth and final book in the time scale of the series. And is riddled with spoilers for the other two books. So the books are being released in the order of 1, 2, 5, 3, 4.

This was not my decision. I think it’s a bad decision and am extremely bitter about it. But my publisher has the contractual rights to all five books and apparently can “publish them in whatever order they choose”. Which apparently means the wrong order.

I’m glad you like the books, Miranda. I wish I had better news for you on their release.

        Hi, Olivia
I’ve just read your reply to Miranda. I was reading Double Time and noticed something strange… who were those new characters? Why didn’t you present them to us?
I think you’re right, (and your publisher isn’t…) That makes no sense reading it in the wrong chronological order. I’ll wait till February 2013… but I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait till Fall….
        Best regards
I beg your pardon for the wrong writing, I’m studying English

Hi I’m an absolute fan you Backstage Pass and Rock Hard. When I read the first book I couldn’t put it down and then I read Rock Hard and became completely hooked. I really can’t wait to see what will happen to Jace’s kinky relationship, if Trey will find love outside of his crush on Brian, and just simply what will happen to Eric. Good luck and keep me posted.

Hi Olivia, I went to Books A Million when Backstage Pass came out and just so happen to choose it as my purchase. I loved it and waited a very long anticipated time for Rock Hard. Both Spectacular books! I let a friend borrow it and is now obsessed. Don’t keep us waiting too long. And please get us some dates!!!

      May 2, 2011 at 7:38 pm

Chad, I wish I had some dates to give you. I think I’m more frustrated about having no idea when the next book is being released than anyone. Hopefully it won’t be much longer before I know something and can pass that information on to all of you. Glad you and your friend enjoyed the books!

I never post comments about books or authors that I have read so that should give you an idea of how impressed I am with your writing. I got Backstage Pass for free on my kindle and finished it in a day then immediately bought Rock Hard and did the same with it. I am really looking forward to the rest of the series and anything else you write.

I absolutely love your books!! I find guitar players the most sexiest beasts in the world!!…seriously WOW. And holy schmoly I picture Brian aka Syn from A7X when I read this and you totally wrote it inspired by them! SO AWESOME! Just wondering how far have you come along on the other sinners books? Would we be reading them within the year?

Though I’m almost done writing all three of the sequels, it takes a bit longer for a publisher to get them out in book form. I’ve been told not to expect the next one until Fall of 2012.

    Hi Olivia,
Since you love rock music and travel to see your fav bands, I’m curious, have you ever had any of the opportunities that you write about in your books? I also just read both of your Sinners series books and fell in love with your writing. I also read on the Sinners blog that you mentioned the Rev from A7X but I didn’t see it. I bought the kindle version so maybe dedications etc weren’t included. I honestly didn’t know who they were and spent a good deal of time watching them on line in their videos and interviews. I really like them. When reading your books I kept thinking of one of my fav bands, Breaking Benjamin, but I think I’ll have to add A7X to my MP3. 🙂 I am anxiously waiting your next books. Five books seems such a short time to have the Sinners in our reading lives. Do you think you’ll continue at all by writing books for Exodus End and the world tour they are doing with the Sinners. I’d love to see continued books where we can keep up with our beloved Sinners.

    • Olivia

      June 19, 2011 at 10:17 am

I think you have to back-up from the first page of the first chapter to see the dedication. Backstage Pass was dedicated to Dimebag Darrell Abbot, Rock Hard to Kurt Cobain. Eric’s book (when it comes out) is the one that is dedicated to the Rev. I’ll be writing other bands (not Sinners related), and if I get to do Exodus End’s series, you’ll get bits and pieces of Sinners in those books. After five books, you might start to get sick of them. 🙂 They don’t want to wear out their welcome.

I loved the first two books! Music is my life and I live for it and reading your stories I lose track of all time. I go to work and can’t wait to get off the clock so I can read more. I wish your publisher’s would release early! I especially can’t wait to read Jace’s character more. I love all the guys, but Jace has struck a chord with me!

    • Olivia

      June 26, 2011 at 9:24 pm

Jace is a very complex character. I loved getting to know him when I wrote his book. He’s pretty quiet in the first two.

Hey Olivia, My comments gunna be a lot like the rest of em, but common, when you make a masterpiece do you really get tired of people telling you how great it is? lol anyways yes, making backstage pass free is how i found your work, and i just bought rock hard, lovin the guys! keep on writing! Deffinatly tellin all my female friends, and hey, even some of the guys, about your books, great work!!

Hi Olivia, I have read both books and absolutly love them. I was wondering If you were going to do a book on the band after you write the ones on the individuals, Like if Myrna and Brian have a baby and Sed and Jessica ever get married and start a family of their own.

I hope the marriage between Sed and Jess will happen someplace neat. I find myself wanting to see that closed first, then moving on to the rest. I cant wait for all the books to be complete, but what happens after that? A new band? I love the fact that this follows rock bands, and would really hate to see them end.

One of these new couples has to have a baby soon. Oh man, would Brian and Sed be swoon worthy when they go into protective cuddle bunny daddy mode!! I vote for Brian and Myrna parenthood first!! But I’m biased, they’re my favorites. I can’t wait for the next book!! BUT! I’m also anxious to read Exodus End’s first book!! I’m so happy you’re writing about this untapped genre!!! I love it!! The world of love and ROCK MUSIC!! Happy writing to you!!

  30. Olivia

    July 9, 2011 at 9:44 pm

It takes a while to have a baby, but I promise there will be at least one by the end of the series. No spoilers!

I’m almost done with Sinners and haven’t even started Exodus End, so it will be a while before an Exodus End book will be released.

Let me start out with saying thanks for writting such awesome books!! After reading through some of the other comments I am glad to know that I am not the only one who thought of Avenged Sevenfold when I was reading the series. I am a huge A7x fan and am so glad that you are dedicating a book to the Rev. Keep rocking on and I eagerly await your next books, espcially Trey’s!! 🙂

I have read both Back Stage Pass and Rock Hard in under two days. I devoured them. I love that these were available to my Kindle. I so rarely spend the money I have in my Amazon account. I work so hard to earn what’s there, that I tend to hoard it. But after reading Back Stage Pass, I went in a pleading search hoping for more. When I found Rock Hard, I didn’t even think about it. I bough it without even thinking about the fact that it would put a significant dent in what credit I had left. I was not disappointed. It was a thrilling novel. I can’t wait to read the rest of their stories; though I must admit to very strong affinity to wanting to know Jace’s a tad more than Trey or Eric’s. *naughty grin*

I have to agree with the many previous comments. The idea of their music I had in my mind was very A7X. I’ve always been a music lover myself so it wasn’t hard to fall deep in lust with no just the characters but the story and the music as well. Wonderful work.

Ya know, If the publisherscwant to be dicks about publishing the books in the wrong order, so be it. I will buy them as they come out, read them and then when they’re all out just re-read them in order. Love the guys, they are totally addictive. Have read Backstage Pass & Rock Hard a couple times each already…..Backstage Pass, ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK! Bar none!

      March 9, 2012 at 5:53 pm

Is there anything we, your fans, can do to get the publisher to understand that releasing a series in the wrong order is very disrespectful and insulting for you as the author? Not only that but it is truly cheating the readers. Who decided that to read the final book and spoil what we are missing from the middle two books was a good idea? I’ve never heard of something like this. And they wonder why they lose readers.

This series is truly amazing. In the future I hope great success comes to you as the accomplished author you are and that you can find a new publisher who gets it.

Thanks for the support. I do appreciate it. There isn’t really anything anyone can do. I just hope fans don’t get frustrated and stop reading the series.

        March 10, 2012 at 7:10 pm

I won’t stop reading. It is just unfair. Maybe I’ll buy them but wait to read them in order after the 2013 releases. Just seems like the right thing to do for the band. 🙂

    March 10, 2012 at 6:24 pm

If we can write the publisher I’m sure many of your fans will do so. Do you have a link that we could write to them? It seems really self destructive to release a book that will give spoilers to the other 2 unreleased books in a series. I have never heard of any other author dealing with this…at least non that I read (which is several). I wondered why they were taking so long to release your next book when the first two seemed to do so well. Strike while the iron is hot an all. Any support we can give we’d love to help.

I’m a huge fan of your writing and addicted to your books, I can’t get enough of the characters, I found my self giggling at work while reading Backstage Pass and have told all my girlfriends at work to read them and that they will love them 🙂 I can’t wait to read about Trey.. (he is my favorite) You are amazing 🙂

Ok… so was having coffee with a gf as we were talking about Sinners (sighhhh– so hot). Anyway, we think that Alan Ball should be approached to make it into an HBO series. Would that not be the hottest thing on TV? I’m havin a hot flash just thinkin about it. if he can work magic with the Sookie books— he’d only have to put half the effort in for the Sinners. Love the books– totally unexpected. Knew there would be hotness but the story lines go so beyond all that. Ok I gotta stop here cuz I’m gonna go reread the bathtub scene now. 😉

I WISH they’d turn the Sinners books into an HBO series – I would die of happiness. I feel like the books would translate to the screen so well. I’m so addicted, I NEED more books to come out!

Thank you for sharing the publishing information about the rest of this series. I’ve read the first two and intend on reading them in the order that they were meant to be read in. I definitely don’t want to read spoilers to this great series…so I’ll be waiting until 2013 to read this series the right way….Totally Sucks! but this series is worth the wait…

I have to wait until Novemeber, huh? I don’t know if I can do it! I’m a picky reader, honestly. I’ve been scouring the ‘net this summer, devouring e-books in a day or two. So many of the romantic/erotic fiction sellers out there are just terrible. Poorly written, thinly developed… terrible. I struggle through page after page of simplistic prose, only to find out the most obvious of endings has been bestowed upon our one-dimensional characters.

And then I found “Backstage Pass.” You, Olivia, are so clever! You’re a wonderful author. Just, thank you so much! I loved the first two Sinners books, and I cannot wait for more to come out. I honestly hope they never stop printing! You are such a great writer – your love scenes are never redundant, your characters are dynamic and so real. I’m just so happy to have a found an author with actual skill in the genre I so love to read!!

Hey olivia, just want to express my gratitude to you for creating the wonderful world of Sinners! Its so refreshing to find well written erotic romance with such compelling characters. I adore the humour and dynamics between the band members and how each one has hidden depths and is far from one dimensional. I especially love the Brian /Trey story. Im not usually a fan of gay romance stories but this has captured my heart and i cant wait to explore this further in Trey’s book. The Sinners books are just the escapsim i need. Thankyou!!

I told myself that I should show some self control and wait till books 3 and 4 were released, then read them in the correct order…but how could I? This was Trey! Sweet, damaged, lost Trey, finally finding some joy. So my compromise with myself is to wait till I have them all, then retread from the start. But your publishers really are idiots – have they even read the books to realise how this messes with so many story lines? Ah we’ll, we love all the Sinners anyway, thank you for sharing them.

    Hi Olivia,

I am kinda confused on the order of books. I read the 1st book Backstage Pass, then 2nd book is
Rock.Hard, which is the 3d book Hot Ticket, or Double Time?

    Olivia,
I love love love this series.. I’m on Hot Ticket and love Jace and Aggie. My favorite band member is Trey but I don’t want to read his book next until I read Eric’s… however, I don’t think I can wait until August!!

I think you should write Jessica and Myrna’s books.. I’d love to read their POV (and SOON!)

HUGE fan, please keep writing about these characters!

I just want to say I love theses books found them after my fifty shades of grey kick. And i think i love them moore. They remind me of my teen years when I was a groupie for all the hair bands that came to my town. Just have to say brian is my fav. and Trey reminds me of CC Devill of poison back in the day just saying. Each book has been a lot of fun they definitely have fulfilled my guilty pleasure.Thank you

    Olivia,
I love your Sinners series – they have me all revved up. I own three of them (Brian, Sed and Jace), and I am waiting the listen to Trey’s story until Eric’s comes out. Trying to stick to your order. I can’t wait to see what happens to Eric – I have a soft spot for him.

I actually listen to them (from Audible), while I am working out at the gym, grocery shopping, standing in line at the post office… if people only knew what I was doing. Gives me an added thrill 🙂

Anyway, great writing and Justine O. Keef does an excellent job as your reader.

    Hi Olivia.

Sinners are highly addictive and I will actually miss them after reading Eric´s book. I am curious if you will continue writing the obvious extension of this series with a new set of books about Exodus End?

The thing that makes me crazy about this site is that I can’t see most of the text – it’s black on a black background! I have to keep selecting everything, which is very time-consuming sometimes. The writing is incredible, though!

That’s strange. What kind of device are you on? There’s a white layer between the background and the text for me. Maybe I need to change the theme.
